The "Teaching Portfolio Workshop Series" at HKU's Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) will include two workshops in 2025


About the event

  1. Compiling a Teaching Portfolio

    • Date: June 6, 2025

    • Time: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM

    • Focus: This workshop will guide participants on how to structure a teaching portfolio, what to include (such as reflections on professional development), and how to collect evidence of teaching effectiveness.

  2. Presenting a Teaching Portfolio for a Teaching Excellence Award

    • Date: September 25, 2025

    • Time: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

    • Guest Speaker: Ms. Tanya Kempston, PGDE Programme Director

    • Focus: This session will cover the specific requirements for applying for the University's Teaching Excellence Award, including how to present the portfolio effectively.

Each workshop will have a maximum of 25 participants. Registration is necessary, and a waiting list will be available once the quota is reached.
